Bay Title & Abstract, Inc. was founded in 1974 by John C. May, also known as Jack, a native of Peshtigo. With his lending expertise, Jack began Bay Title as a one-person operation, working from his home office. Later, he established his first office in downtown Green Bay. Today, the company has grown to 11 offices, serving Northeast Wisconsin and Michigan's Upper Peninsula.

Jack remains the owner of Bay Title, assisted by his sons Jon D. May and Justin D. May, who now help him run the business.
